The Ark Brought to the Temple

2. Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.

2. Alors Salomon assembla à Jérusalem les anciens d`Israël et tous les chefs des tribus, les chefs de famille des enfants d`Israël, pour transporter de la cité de David, qui est Sion, l`arche de l`alliance de l`Éternel.

2. Ary tamin' izany dia novorin' i Solomona ny loholon' ny Isiraely sy ny lehiben' ny foko rehetra, dia ny lohan' ny fianakavian' ny Zanak' Isiraely, ho any Jerosalema hampakatra ny fiaran' ny faneken' i Jehovah avy tany Ziona, Tanànan' i Davida.

3. Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month.

3. Tous les hommes d`Israël se réunirent auprès du roi pour la fête, qui se célébra le septième mois.

3. Dia nivory ho any amin' ny mpanjaka ny lehilahy rehetra amin' ny Isiraely tamin' ny andro firavoravoana tamin' ny volana fahafito.

4. And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.

4. Lorsque tous les anciens d`Israël furent arrivés, les Lévites portèrent l`arche.

4. Ary tonga ny loholon' ny Isiraely rehetra, ka ny Levita no nitondra ny fiara.

5. And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.

5. Ils transportèrent l`arche, la tente d`assignation, et tous les ustensiles sacrés qui étaient dans la tente: ce furent les sacrificateurs et les Lévites qui les transportèrent.

5. Dia nampakariny ny fiara sy ny tranolay fihaonana ary ny fanaka masina rehetra izay tao amin' ny tabernakely. ireo no nampakarin' ny Levita sy ny mpisorona.

6. Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

6. Le roi Salomon et toute l`assemblée d`Israël convoquée auprès de lui se tinrent devant l`arche. Ils sacrifièrent des brebis et des boeufs, qui ne purent être ni comptés, ni nombrés, à cause de leur multitude.

6. Ary Solomona mpanjaka koa sy ny fiangonan' ny Isiraely rehetra izay nivory teo aminy teo anoloan' ny fiara, dia nanao fanatitra ondry sy omby izay tsy tambo isaina sady tsy hita isa noho ny hamaroany.

7. And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims:

7. Les sacrificateurs portèrent l`arche de l`alliance de l`Éternel à sa place, dans le sanctuaire de la maison, dans le lieu très saint, sous les ailes des chérubins.

7. "Ary ny fiaran' ny faneken' i Jehovah dia nampidirin' ny mpisorona ho ao amin' ny fitoerany tao anatin' ny efitrano anatiny, dia ny fitoerana masina indrindra, teo ambanin' ny elatry ny kerobima;"

8. For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

8. Les chérubins avaient les ailes étendues sur la place de l`arche, et ils couvraient l`arche et ses barres par-dessus.

8. Fa nivelatra tambonin' ny fiara ny elatry ny kerobima ka nanaloka ny fiara sy ny baony.

9. And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.

9. On avait donné aux barres une longueur telle que leurs extrémités se voyaient à distance de l`arche devant le sanctuaire, mais ne se voyaient point du dehors. L`arche a été là jusqu`à ce jour.

9. "Ary lava ny bao, ka hita ny lohany, raha eo amin' ny fiara eo anoloan' ny efitra anatiny, nefa tsy hita eny ivelany; ary mbola ao mandraka androany izy."

10. There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.

10. Il n`y avait dans l`arche que les deux tables que Moïse y plaça en Horeb, lorsque l`Éternel fit alliance avec les enfants d`Israël, à leur sortie d`Égypte.

10. Ary tsy nisy na inona na inona tao anatin' ny fiara afa-tsy ny vato fisaka roa ihany izay nataon' i Mosesy tao anatiny fony tany Horeba, tamin' i Jehovah nanao fanekena tamin' ny Zanak' Isiraely, tamin' ny nivoahany avy tany Egypta.

11. And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:

11. Au moment où les sacrificateurs sortirent du lieu saint, -car tous les sacrificateurs présents s`étaient sanctifiés sans observer l`ordre des classes,

11. Ary izao no niseho, nony nivoaka avy tao amin' ny fitoerana masina ny mpisorona (fa ny mpisorona rehetra izay teo dia efa nanamasina ny tenany, fa tsy mba nifandimby isan-toko tamin' izay:

12. Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

12. et tous les Lévites qui étaient chantres, Asaph, Héman, Jeduthun, leurs fils et leurs frères, revêtus de byssus, se tenaient à l`orient de l`autel avec des cymbales, des luths et des harpes, et avaient auprès d`eux cent vingt sacrificateurs sonnant des trompettes,

12. "Ary ny Levita koa izay mpihira, izay rehetra avy amin' i Asafa sy Hemana sy Jedotona mbamin' ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny izay nitafy hariry madinika fotsy sady nitondra kipantsona sy valiha ary harpa, dia nitsangana teo an-tsisiny atsinanan' ny alitara, ary niaraka taminy dia nisy mpisorona roapolo amby zato nitsoka trompetra);"

13. It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;

13. et lorsque ceux qui sonnaient des trompettes et ceux qui chantaient, s`unissant d`un même accord pour célébrer et pour louer l`Éternel, firent retentir les trompettes, les cymbales et les autres instruments, et célébrèrent l`Éternel par ces paroles: Car il est bon, car sa miséricorde dure à toujours! en ce moment, la maison, la maison de l`Éternel fut remplie d`une nuée.

13. "Ary izao no niseho, efa toy ny feo iray no fandrenesana ny mpitsoka trompetra sy ny fiderana sy ny fisaorana an' i Jehovah; ka nony nanandratra ny feony niaraka tamin' ny trompetra sy ny kipantsona sy ny zava-maneno izy, ka nidera an' i Jehovah nanao hoe: fa tsara Izy, fa mandrakizay ny famindrampony, dia feno rahona ny trano tamin' izay, dia ny tranon' i Jehovah."

14. So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

14. "Les sacrificateurs ne purent pas y rester pour faire le service, à cause de la nuée; car la gloire de l`Éternel remplissait la maison de Dieu."

14. "Koa tsy nahajanona hanao ny asa fanompoana ny mpisorona noho ny rahona; fa nameno ny tranon' Andriamanitra ny voninahitr' i Jehovah."
